Is every translator entitled to certified translations to manufacture?

No, a certified translation must be carried out exclusively by a court-appointed, sworn, or authorized translator. Authorized translators (certified translators) must have proven their translator qualifications to the court for swearing-in/authorization, usually through a translator's diploma, a state-recognized translator examination, or an equivalent translator qualification.

In what form is the authentication of a translation through the authorized translator?

In the certification statement, the sworn/certified/authorized or publicly appointed translator confirms the accuracy of the translation with a certification statement, their signature, and their stamp (usually a round stamp, although some federal states have no specific regulations regarding this). This stamp must include the name of the authorized court translator as well as the language, for which he was sworn in, sworn in or authorized, and finally the court before which the translator took his general oath or was authorized.

How can I commission a certified translation of a document?

You can send us your documents in original form or as certified copies by mail or in person. If you send the document by fax or scan, we require your legally binding assurance (a three-line statement by fax or email) that you actually possess the original document. Only then can the document translation be properly prepared and certified by the court translator. The certification of a document translation is carried out by the authorized/sworn translator themselves, who affixes their certification statement, stamp, and signature to the translation.

What are the costs associated with a certified translation?
