For legal texts, we generally use the JVEG (German Judicial Remuneration and Compensation Act) as the basis for calculation, although many texts to be translated can, in principle, be billed differently from the rates defined in Sections 11 and 12 of the JVEG. Lines are also determined in accordance with the JVEG, namely based on 55 characters, including punctuation and spaces. Furthermore, factors such as language pair (from the native language to a foreign language or vice versa, or from one foreign language to another), subject area, urgency, and the readability of the original text can influence the price. Price The minimum rates are €1.30 and the maximum rates are €2.90 per standard line.
